  • 3 Tsp Oil
  • 1 Cup Extra long grain rice (mahatma)
  • 3 Cup Chicken broth/bullion (or salsa)
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Salt
  • Cilantro and Tahin optional

Brown rice in oil

Mix spice with chicken broth.

Once rice is browned add 1/2 the liquid stirring over medium heat until almost dry.

Add the rest of the liquid and stir until almost dry. Cover simmer on low for 12-20 minutes. Do not lift lid. Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes.
