  • 2“ fresh ginger root
  • 1 large leek
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups chicken broth or miso soup

Thinly slice ginger, leek, and garlic.

Bring all ingredients to a boil in soup pot, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 min.

Strain the mixture and keep the liquid.
